I did. I wasn't too surprised b....lost. He was too tired, it was quite obvious down the home stretch. Union Rags was a favorite and I dnt even hear of him showing or placing.

I watched it on TV. I wanted Daddy Long Legs to win, but my mom had her bets on I'll Have Another.

No way Daddy Long Legs could've won. Aidan O'Brien isn't a bad trainer, nor DLL a bad horse, but he's not a dirt horse, By Scat Daddy and Dreamy Maiden (his parents) both were, but him? not so much. I lost faith in the horse after he got 12th in Breeders' Cup Juvenile. He's not a bad racer, but the biggest question about him was if he could win on a dirt surface, and the answer is no. Theres a difference, trust me (Especcialy if your falling!) Not entirly sure how he ended up in the Derby. He's, what, 5 races in? With a 5-3-0-0 on his last. This was his first time on American dirt surface. The odds were NOT in his favor

Besides, Daddy Long Legs got one of the worst draws at the Derby, starting on the rail at Post 1. The fact that he isn't a sprinter out of the gate will alleviate the negative affect from the traffic he'll experience early in the race, but he's still pretty likely to find himself bunched up against the rail and rather quickly out of contention. Despite that fact, he still came in at 30-1 odds. I wouldn't give him a passing glance at 50-1, for what it's worth. Remember, a horse hasn't won from that post since 1986.
